WHO WE ARE

MASO is a membership based local non governmental organisation W.O 18/91 that is leading the HIV and AIDS response in Midlands Province, Zimbabwe . It is visible, innovative and present where communities are. It works through its network of community volunteers using robust local structures, which facilitates its engagement with relevant community and traditional leaders as it delivers quality HIV and AIDS programmes.

OUR OBJECTIVES

  • To educate and offer training in HIV and AIDS issues
  • To counsel and support People Infected and Affected by HIV
  • To promote sustainable livelihoods among vulnerable households
  • To create awareness on HIV/STI and Sexual Reproductive Health among communities
  • To implement community based programmes in mitigating the effects of HIV
  • To provide a drop in centre for the Affected and Infected by HIV
  • To participate in advocacy in any HIV related issues
